These cookies are the third and final chocolate chip cookie by Alton Brown. The first two were the chewy and the thin. There is something a bit obvious about combining two of my favorite foods into one dish. But being obvious doesn’t make it any less delicious.

The last time we indulged my chocolate chip cookie obsession, we looked at the Nestle Toll House recipe. Though I ate those for many years I was never completely satisfied.
