Steak tartare is not just raw meat and raw egg.
In fact, Steak tartare is :
Fresh high quality beef (or, originally, horse... yes I know :) ). The best is to finely cut it with a knife.
Olive oil
Mustard
Some put ketchup (I do)
Worcestershire sauce
Finely cut onion
Capers
Tabasco
Salt flower &amp; fresh pepper
Lightly mix all this.
Et voilà !

Usually served with french fries.

Then there is some variants.
The tartare at Les Fines Gueules is one of the best I&#039;ve ever eaten. It&#039;s not the traditionnal one, but it&#039;s a pure pleasure.</description>
